What is Learning Works?
LDAH Learning Works is designed to offer quick and complete learning activities around laws and concepts regarding children with disabilities. The online learning system features mini courses on IDEA and Chapter 60, as well as basics of other disability topics such as Dyslexia and Dysgraphia.
The LDAH Learning Works will not earn you a professional designation. However, we will offer an “LDAH Certificate of Training” that means you are certified to help other parents navigate the IEP process in Hawaii.
What value is this to me?
As a parent or a professional (educator, administrator, etc) the LDAH Learning Works is an opportunity for you to become more knowledgeable about your student’s needs. Whether related to the laws or diagnoses, this is a chance for you to learn more at your own pace – time or location.
How does this help? Before your next meeting for your student, brush up on your IDEA understanding, learn more about dyslexia or another diagnosis, learn more about solutions that could help.
