Parents as Partners (PAP) Volunteer Program

The Parents as Partners (PAP) volunteer program, operated statewide, empowers parents to become more involved and better equipped to support their child with disabilities.  PAP volunteers support other parents of children with disabilities by sharing information and resources; modeling mentoring and advocacy skills; partnering with community resources to improve local service systems, and; contributing to increased parental involvement at all levels affecting their children with disabilities.

Community Volunteers

Individuals who are 18 and over, looking to support and offer a helping hand in their community are welcome to come and offer support with LDAH. Community volunteers assists LDAH members with various office tasks. Also, they are able to assist at the several events that LDAH participates in all year round.

Students

Calling all students! Do you need volunteer hours for high school or college? We are accepting a range of students, from Middle School through College, that need volunteering hours. You need to be connected to a school.  Student volunteers will fulfill various tasks around our LDAH office and the many events that we participate and host. Come and join our fun and energetic team!
